CLOISTER WALK
Covered walkways surrounding the cloister patio. These walkways are usually vaulted and look onto the patio through open arcades. In two story cloisters, friars' cells generally open onto the second story cloister walk. Many Mexican cloister walks were covered with frescoes of religious history.
